Jake and his team completed a two bedroom one bathroom loft extension on my Victorian terrace house in six weeks and to a very competent standard. The finish is exactly as I wanted it and additional work was carried out on other areas of the house at a reasonable cost and within the same timescale. Jake was responsive, open to criticism and adaptable as much as he and the plans could be. I would recommend him and his team highly.

Concept Loft Rooms Ltd were the only company to turn up on time to quote, gave a competitive price and had the ability to communicate effectively. Jake was also the only one to assure us our box room wall wouldn't need to move to make room for the stairs, all the others said we needed to move the wall and lose space in an already small room.
When you are spending this much money on a project you want someone who can answer your questions quickly, be professional and efficient. I'm pleased to say Jake and his entire team were all of this. Very friendly, hardworking, tidy and polite. They are also fast and had the entire project completed within 4 weeks.

After obtaining a tonne of quotes, a friend recommended Jake and his team and I’m really pleased they did. Not only was his quote competitive but he did everything that he said he would do and more. All his team are clean, tidy and polite and they also go out of there way to help you with whatever they can. I had been told by other people who had loft conversions to expect something to go wrong or for it to take a lot longer to complete than expected but I am happy to say that not only was it wrapped up within the 4 weeks quoted, but the only thing to go wrong was at our end with the flooring and they even adapted to that to make sure the build stayed on track. We can not recommend them highly enough.

After obtaining half a dozen quotes and meeting with various companies we decided to go with Concept Loft Rooms Ltd. Not only was the quote competitive, but they explained the process really clearly and came up with the most creative suggestions as to what we could do with the space and provided us with the best plans for our needs. The work started when they said it would, was carried out by who they said and they were finished sooner than when they said they would be. The staff were clean (tidying up after themselves), polite and courteous (telling us when there was going to be banging etc. As we have young children). We really couldn’t recommend them highly enough and always offer for them to show other potential customers our loft. On a separate note, we completely underestimated the extra space gained! We wish we had done it years ago!

Jake did an excellent job for us, we are really happy with the way it has transformed our house! We had a few quotes and although Jake wasn’t the cheapest his was the most professional and I’m glad we chose to go with him. Our quote was very detailed and the build went quicker than the schedule said which was a bonus! it was about 18 working days from start to finish for our loft which was brilliant. Jake was very informative all the way through offering up his thoughts on the layout and changes that could be made to utilise space or help the building flow better.

We had an L-shaped loft conversion completed in 5weeks to a very high standard. The workmen were professional, punctual and reliable. They were very respectful of my neighbours and ensured front and back of house were kept clean and tidy. First builders I have nothing negative to report. I only complaint is that they only do lofts. We would love to have them back to do other jobs. Good builders are hard to find.

We decided to have a loft conversion in May 2017. After inviting 3 companies round to give us a quote, it was very clear that Concept Lofts was the choice for us. We were impressed with Jake’s attention to detail and he talked through the whole process with us. Once he knew what our requirements were he sent us a floor plan within 24 hours. Our requirements were:
a) An L-Shaped Loft Dormer comprising of a master bedroom, plenty of wardrobe space, and separate bathroom.
b) Construction of a new shower room on the 1st floor
c) Construction of a hallway with double doors on the ground floor.
Jake invited us over to another property he was working on. The property had the new staircase just fitted and all the loft rooms were plasterboarded, ready for it’s second fix and then skimming. Jake took us around the property and we had discussions of how things could look in our new loft room. This not only gave us a valuable insight into Jake’s quality of work, but also demonstrated how generous Jake is with spending time with you, even during a busy building site.
On the 3rd July 2018 Jake and his team started work on our property, and by the beginning of August the Loft was constructed and so was the new shower room along with all plumbing and electrical fixes. Jake was on site throughout the construction and he and his team worked fast without compromising quality.
One of the things that sticks out in my mind is how Jake’s team always tidied up at the end of a tiring day. They are a very friendly and hard working team, always arrived on time and it was a pleasure to have Jake, Matt and Karl work on our property.
My family love the finished project. The kids love having showers in ‘their new shower room’ and my wife is very happy with the spacious wardrobe room which allows for even more space in our new master bedroom. Our separate bathroom is beautiful too. A very big thank you to Jake and his team.
For my wife and I, the most stressful part of the whole process was worrying about finding a competent builder that you can trust to demolish and then build up your house again (we have all heard the horror stories), but you won’t have to worry about any of that with Concept Lofts. I recommend them highly.
