Your consultation is free, an ideal opportunity for you to see how much space you can gain without having to commit to a deposit.

Once you are ready to go ahead, we will instruct our architect to survey the property and get to work on your architectural drawings.

Most conversions fall under permitted development and require no planning permission, in which case we would apply for your lawful development certificate. However if planning is required, our experienced team can help with planning approval.

Building Regulations

Full plans and structural calculations will be submitted to the necessary Building Control authority for approval before works commence.

Loft Conversions Aveley - The Process

Our process is designed to be smooth, efficient, and stress-free. It begins with a free consultation where we assess your loft space, discuss your ideas, and advise on the most suitable type of conversion.

In the first week, our team will begin by erecting scaffolding and establishing the core structure of your loft conversion. By week two, we move on to installing external features, such as windows and doors, while also making the roof fully weatherproof. The third week focuses on fitting the staircase and starting the plastering process to prepare the space for finishing work. Weeks four to six are tailored to your specific requirements but typically include the installation of internal doors, electrical wiring, plumbing systems, and built-in features like wardrobes. If requested, this stage also covers decorating, tiling, and other finishing touches to complete your new loft space.
